"The Earth is an egg!"

In this practice, 7th grade students were able to compare and contrast the characteristics of the Earth's interior to the layers of a boiled egg. That was really 'eggciting'!

Yummy cells!

Edible cell models were made by 8th grade students using their creativity (and cooking talent!) to represent our cell organelles, respecting their shape and size proportions. Not only were they very original but also incredibly tasty!

Convection Currents

Did you know there are winds that blow globally? Did you know that superficial ocean waters are hot and cold ones flow deeper? Did you know our crust is actually moving? If you want to know more about it, ask a 7th grader! After this demonstration in the lab, they can easily explain the effects of convection currents in our planet.
