On September 15, the 4th and 5th grades had the most unique and exciting field trip ever: they went to the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games! It was a very hot and sunny day. We were on the bleachers - out on the open! However, it was all worth it when the competitions began. We watched canoe sprinting. Our students cheered very joyfully and loudly! Brazilian paralympic athlete Caio Ribeiro won a bronze medal. It was the highlight of our field trip. We know how lucky we were to have participated in such a special event as this one was.
