Walkathon Against Cancer 2017
Being part of the 2017 Walkathon Against Cancer was a wonderful experience. It was one of my first large community service related activities outside OLM and I have nothing but nice words to say. The cause was powerful, as cancer is one of society’s most gargantuan problems and the walkathon, while also being a good exercise opportunity, raises awareness to that fact. The event was an amazing situation for socializing with fellow students and those with them as well, making the day cheerfully remarkable.

A experiência de participar da caminhada contra o cancer - Walkathon - já entrou na minha agenda permanente. O modelo, o objetivo, poder conviver e presenciar as crianças se movimentando para um bem maior me conquista.
São duas horas de caminhada que podem salvar uma vida. Trabalhei na Fundação do Câncer por 9 anos e sei o quanto cada doação e movimentação fortalece aqueles que lutam pela saúde no Brasil.
