1st grade B Science Fair was great.
The students were excited about the experiments with water. They learned all about "States of Matter": liquid, solid and gas. There were 7 groups mixing solids and liquids with water : oil, vinegar, corn starch, manioc flour, juice powder, salt and sugar. They also had to ask each visitor if the solid or liquid would dissolve in water. Many students and teachers visited them. 1st graders learned a lot for sure.

Have you met Ronnie the Raindrop? Second Graders have! They have also learned Ronnie is a very important natural resource that must be saved! For this year’s Science Fair, Water: A Drop of Life, our students had the chance of witnessing the Water Cycle happen in front of their eyes! They also made cool water filters using very simple materials.
Presenting all their discoveries and singing Ronnie the Raindrop Song to the different groups and teachers who visited them was an unforgettable experience! We are sure that from now on Second Graders will treat Ronnie with love and care!
