BROTHERHOOD  DAY

12th grade

One of the most awaited days of our school year, our Brotherhood day finally came.  As usual, it was a day filled with laughter, joy, and fun activities. This time, however, it all felt different. Even before we reached Germania to start our day together, we were already determined to make this Brotherhood the very best, and to enjoy it to the fullest. We gathered in our school chapel, listening to Ms. Souza speak of time and how there’s a moment for everything in life. Yesterday, we experienced one more of these moments, the one in which we would say goodbye to one more aspect of our life in OLM. We were about to have our very last Brotherhood day. Even knowing that that was one of the last times we would gather as a class in such a special way, we did not let our spirits down, and made sure to make our day the best one possible. Throughout the entire day, the atmosphere was a light one, one of friendship and family. All of our group dynamics also served to bring us even closer together, sharing with one another special moments of our life, worries we might have, and even the legacy that OLM will leave in us. To make our Brotherhood even better, we enjoyed a delicious churrasco, especially prepared by the Germania staff to us. We ate a lot, laughed a lot, and spoke a lot. After lunch, we either enjoyed the sunny day and hot weather in the pool or gathered with friends to play sports. Our day then ended with a delicious cake, and, in our hearts, we had the certainty that this had been the best Brotherhood ever, and that our friendships are going to go way beyond the school gates!
