Of Mice and Men was written by John Steinbeck and published in 1937. It tells the story of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displace migrant ranch  workers, who move from place to place in California in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in the United States.

The class of 2020 had read and discussed the book before having the idea of writing their own script and acting it out.
