"ARTHUR MEETS
THE PRESIDENT"

1/2
During Library Class, 3rd graders read the story "Arthur meets the President", by Marc Brown.
After that, they participated in an activity in which they had to write down what they would like to ask our president, Dilma, including things for our country or their neighborhood. It was funny because the majority of the students asked for the same things: more food for the poor, a stop to the manifestations, more hospitals and more schools. Some of them also asked for gold and more books for our Library. They also made drawings of what they wished for. This activity happened on Oct 14 and 18.
