Don´t take this experience for granted...
Dear Ms. Machado,
I've been thinking of writing this email for a long time but I've been so busy with homeworks and tests that it is hard to have a time for me. First, I am happy to let to know that I am loving my experience at Pace, this is the college life I always dreamed of; everyone is so nice and kind... I couldn't see myself anywhere else. Ms. Machado, I already emailed you about my so far college experience but the purpose of this email is another one.
During my last two years in OLM I was always tired, I felt overwhelmed with so much work every single day.. My class and I always complained about the so feared thesis, homeworks, projects, test weeks.... literally, about everything. I knew all my effort was worth when I got my honors in the thesis and my best GPA ever...However, somehow, I think I could have complained less and have more fun. I did everything the way it was supposed to be and forgot about what this experience was providing me. Doing the thesis is very very exhausting but it is so worth it, it gives you an awesome experience that you will only realize when you are in college. I only realized how well OLM prepared me for life when I came to college.
The community service helped me to see the world in a different way and be thankful for the wonderful life I have, the thesis gave me an awesome academic experience that I can't put into words, the school itself taught me things (even outside the classroom) that I will take with me forever. OLM shaped me in a way my family could never do it. Students and staff, you are part of this.I am writing this message to every and each OLM family member. I think I had a great experience in OLM and I am sad I only realized this now.
Dear current OLM students, don't take this experience for granted; this school is the best ever.. I know it seems cheesy but although college is an awesome life experience, it doesn't teach you halve of what this school does. My advice for all of you is to study a lot and have the double of fun!!! Thanks for everything OLM family. I miss each and everyone of you, my school experience would not be the same without all of you.
