OLMatters: Why Joseph?
"The Genesis book from the bible was chosen for the curricular theme of this past school year. It includes love, respect, bullying and caring for others, characteristics that match with a school environment. As a coincidence there is a Broadway play that involves all these characteristics, that is why the play, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was chosen as the play in which all school would get involved together."
Dr. Lyndaker

OLMatters: What did your choreography represent in the play?
“My choreography represented the wives of Jacob´s sons. There were nine wives and their movements were inspired by the Belly Dance movements.”
Samantha Campanelli (choreographer)

OLMatters: How long have you been practicing for the show?
“We’ve been rehearsing for about one month; we had many practices and gave our best at all moments.”
Beatriz Machado (dancer)

Pharaoh: Nathalia Crespo

Marcelo Camera & Juliana Wilczynski
Butler: Gabriel Braga & Jacob: Edno Vieira
OLMatters: What is the hardest part in your role?
“While doing the makeup of the dancers the biggest challenge was managing time and still doing a good job, mainly because I am a perfectionist”.
Mylena Salatino (makeup artist)

OLMatters: Which costume was the hardest to make?
“The costume of the wives was the hardest to make, this is because of the quality of the fabric and because there were too many details.”
Ms. Merchak (costume designer)

OLMatters: What made you participate in this school production and how did you feel about it?
“It was a great experience and I decided to participate because like singing a lot and I am the only male student singer in school".
Kevin Dasilva (actor/singer)
