Meet the Teacher
The new English teacher at OLM High School is Ms. Rosali Lima, a teacher of high school English for 20 years. Professor Lima is completing her Ph.D. at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and comes to OLM most recently from Anhanguera University where she first taught teaching didactics and language courses. She later became the coordinator of the post-graduation and extension educational programs at Anhanguera. It is a journey that began in 2002 and lasted until December of 2013 when she joined the OLM high school staff.
Professor Lima has been an important speaker at congresses and seminars related to the art of teaching and the art of language learning, sponsored by some of the most influential organizations in Brazil. She has passed in First Place in recent public "concursos" to work in education at the RJ state level and also for MEC.
Professor Lima has published a book on English language learning for teachers and another on teaching Portuguese to foreigners - Language is her absolute passion. A translator, book editor, participant of many language institutes, mother of two OLM students, and a dedicated teacher first and foremost to her students and their learning, OLM takes pride in receiving Professor Lima.
