But I call him Juan.
I remember the first day Juan came into my class, in 7th grade.
Couldn't help to notice that he was different.

And you know why he was different? Because he was very smart and very polite kid. He had the nicest desk everyone wanted to sit on!  And he was from Chile. I'd never met anyone from Chile before.

Juan made lots of friends in our class, and we keep in touch until today. He stayed with us only for a few years before he went back to Chile, but I am sure he learned his soccer skills in Brazil. =)

Still, class of 2004 is very happy to have met you. Now, 10 years later, we all have our jobs and responsibilities and life isn't as fun as it used to be in school, where we only worried with lunch time. But I am sure being National Champion of Freestyle Football must be one of the best jobs ever.

 

You showed us how to deal with problems in a very simple way: being happy. Congratulations on your championship, congratulations on your life.

I am glad I met you, and we are still friends, despite the distance and the long years no see. 

 

I saw his interview few days ago and wrote him to say how nice it was!
And you know what he told me? That OLM is the best school he ever
studied. OLM really is a treasure. (see link below for the complete interview)

This weekend, Brazil and Chile meet again in the World Cup.

Sorry, Juan, "mas só vai dá Brasil !! " ;)
