I like to encourage my students to be creative and have FUN while reading either independent books on their own, or the ones that I have assigned as school work. This month, I asked my students to design and build a diorama after reading their books. The objective was to illustrate the tone and main idea of the book. I was blissfully happy with the result of the assignment because all students worked really hard and came up with such original projects.
