NEW FAMILY MEMBERS!
Paola Formica - 3rd Grade
Paola comes from Bari, Italy, and the OLMatters team was unfortunately unable to speak Italian with her. However, with the help of Andrea (6th), the interviewer - Nicole (7th) - was able to know a bit about this charming Italian girl.
Paola is 8 years old and is an only child. She has been to Brazil before her arrival only to see what her new home would be like. Her previous school was smaller than OLM, even though it also goes from pre-nursery all the way to high school. Out of all things see missed of Italy, though, Paola says she misses her cousins the most. She also misses Italian food, which she admits to her is better than Brazilian. Paoloa's favorites things about Rio, on the other hand, include going to the beach and in OLM, going to Math class. She lives in Copacabana at the moment but is unsure of how long she is staying and where her father's job will take her next.
