We truly enjoyed our experience and cannot thank the school enough for giving us this opportunity. During this event, we were not only able to enjoy lively Samba music and dancing, but were also able to experience a Brazilian cultural tradition.
We were amazed by the lively music and large bands, elaborate, beautiful costumes and floats and outstanding dance technique. The amount of detail and planning done to prepare for such an event certainly paid off. Although we could not understand the words to the songs, the theme from each school certainly came alive through the music, costumes, designs and dancing.
We feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to emerge ourselves in Brazilian culture with the company of two outstanding OLM teachers.
