Remembering 9/11

Studying the many aspects of the world in History Class brings up questions that often cannot be answered. One of these questions is related to the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center, in New York City. Thirteen years have passed but the memory of the tragedy is still vivid. Why did September 11, 2001 happen?

Concrete answers have still not been given, but the feelings of loss, grief, and sadness are still there. Dedicating one day of World History classes to work on posters in order to remember the date was the way that students found to keep all of those who perished, as well as their families who have to live with the loss, alive in society’s memory.
